Yeah Ha is all I can say about this MTB trip to the USA

It all started many many moons ago. I always used to read about the great trails in Fruita, Colorado & Moab, Utah, USA. Have always wanted to ride these trails, or some of these trails even.

On the Titus area of http://www.mtbr.com, I broached the idea of meeting up for a group ride consisting of people on MTBR. Put the idea forward, in which there was considerable interest. Continued on with drumming up support. Which with me and my patience was not enough. But come trip time, we had around 20 names committed. So come the morning of meeting, I was somewhat nervous to say the least of anyone turning up. First meeting point was at http://www.otesports.com in Fruita, Colorado. I was first to arrive, met up with Troy the owner. Have to say, not butt kissing, but he is a great individual, whom oozes passion. What a legend. More people turned up, we ended up with 8 participents in Fruita. 2 more would join us in Moab.

I am pleased to say that there were no freaks, seeing as though we had all only ever chatted on the MTBR Forum. So no axe murderers. It was great to meet people in person that I had communicated with for such a longtime.

We all got sorted and headed off for our first ride, which was fantastic. Iam not going to explain each ride in detail. No time to do this.

To finish, had an awesome time, was way way better than I expected or had hoped. I am sure we will get more people this year. Where we will go is still in the air. A huge thank you to Troy at OTE and to Jeff at Titus, whom sent some great merchandise from Titus. It is very probable that Titus will join us for this years ride with there Demo rigs, yeah ha. I also am very confident that we will get many more participants, now that people will knwo that it was real and happened...
